Thursday 7 August
Top of the Town at Tilleys - 8pm to 11pm (free!)
Mix it up with the early arrivals with music selected by Australia's top DJs. Tilley’s is the National Capital’s premier jazz venue and a Canberra institution. With one of Canberra’s most stylish interiors, Tilley’s is the perfect place to kick off a weekend of swing in style. Come early for great food and wine before hitting the spacious dancefloor, installed especially for your dancing pleasure.

Friday 8 August
A Day on the Town - you're on your own!

Check out some of Canberra's landmarks and cultural institutions. Parliament House (new and old), the National Museum of Australia, the National Archives, the Australian War Memorial, the National Gallery, Questacon . . . there's lots to do in the National Capital!

Battle of the Big Bands - 8pm to 11.30pm $40
Savoy-style Battle of the Big Bands with the Blamey Street Big Band and Spectrum Big Band battling it out at the wonderful Albert Hall. Performances from guests and the Jumptown Jammers.
Hot chocolate, coffee and snacks provided by Cafe L’il and bar service courtesy of the Rotary Club of Canberra (no BYO).

Latenight Lakeside Speakeasy - midnight to late $10
Dance the night away with Canberräng DJs. The dancefloor is legendary and the views are spectacular—don’t miss this one! Our traditional chocolate brownies (hello Herräng!) and snacks will keep you going ‘til the wee hours.
BYO alcohol. Soft drinks available.

Saturday 9 August
Lindy bomb the city - 11.30am to 12.30pm (free!)
The Garema Place Lindy Bomb has become a Canberräng institution. The giant chess board and surrounding cafés are a perfect place to ease into the day with a few tunes. Re-charge with brunch, lunch or a caffeine fix before jumping on the bus for the road trip!
Venue: The Chess Pit, Garema Place, Civic
Lake George's Cellar - 2.00pm to 5.00pm $20
Take a bus trip to enjoy wine tasting at a picturesque winery and live jazz with Limelight! Wine tasting is included in your weekend pass, and snacks and other drinks available to purchase.
Meet at the Jolimont Centre on Northbourne Avenue from 1.45pm - the bus will leave at 2pm SHARP! If you drive yourself please let us know beforehand, and aim to arrive at 2.30pm (per event price is $20 at the door).

Canberra Cotton Club Dinner Dance - 7.00pm to 11.30pm $60

A night of jazz-era music, dancing and style with the Black Mountain Jazz Band, a great 1920s-style group and one of Canberra's best-kept secrets. Swing dancing performances from guests and Jumptown's own girls' group to make you smile.
NB Bookings essential - includes a 2 course dinner
Dress: black tie (circa 1920s/30s, loungey)

Saturday Night Shout After Party
midnight to late $10
Late night dancing with your favourite DJs, new friends and the best food in town! Last Canberräng's afterparty in this cute little hall was the talk of the town - the vibe, the venue, the visitors and the vittels(!) all added up to a magical night. Come along and see for yourself!
BYO alcohol, soft drinks available
Venue: McGregor Hall, cnr Barry Drive and Marcus Clarke Sts, Civic (enter carpark from Childers Street)
Sunday 10 August
Dancing in the Streets - 11.30am to 12.30pm (free)
Lindy Bomb at the markets and browse the Canberra Glass Works. Grab some delicious lunch and a coffee at one of the many stalls indoors.
Location: Old Bus Depot Markets, Wentworth Street, Kingston
The Sideshow Marquee - 2pm to 5pm $20
An afternoon of swing dancing in a lakeside marquee on the shores of beautiful Lake Burley Griffin - the dancefloor is in place, the band is booked and there will be surprises! The Leisa Keen Trio are one of Canberra's favourite small group swing outfits, and a dancer's favourite. Drinks are on tap upstairs in the main part of the Canberra Yacht Club, and hot snacks to stave off those mid-afternoon munchies will be available for passholders.
Venue: Canberra Yacht Club, Mariner Place, Yarralumla
Winter Wrap-up - 6pm to late
Live blues, boogie and slow swing with the Chris Mawer Band at the oldest pub in town.
Venue: Old Canberra Inn, Mouat Street, Lyneham
